My work in clay is functional and decorative - wheel thrown and slab built and fired to cone one with over and under glaze decoration. All pieces are food safe and the wheel thrown ones are oven and microwave proof. I have formulated my clay and glazes to fit so that there is no problem with crazing. The slight compression of the glaze creates a very durable and chip resistant surface.
