Tracey McAlister has always had a passion for various forms of art, from her early studies at an art and design college in Northern England, which led to a successful career in interior design. Her main areas of interest are in acrylic abstract paintings and three-dimensional interior accent pieces featuring many locally sourced materials. Her early influences were to be found in her surrounds in rural Yorkshire, England where she learnt to appreciate natural stone, wood and nature. This is reflected in her creations which are inspired by the beauty and energy of Manitoulin Island.
