Ursula Hettmann spent her early youth in Silesia, which became part of Poland after the Second World War. She and her husband raised their four children near the town of Warstein. She upgraded her education with a Master's Certificate in home economy,became a tennis instruktor and finally started an apprenticeship with a goldsmith. Ursula creates one of a kind jewellery in gold and silver. She uses very oftenAmber, pearls, ammonites, corals and onyx. Her studio is located on the south shore of Manitoulin Island, west of Spring Bay. Lots of signs lead you there. The gallery is open for the public in summer or by appointment.
